- Customer Satisfaction Survey
Here is a copy of the MarkeTrak VII customer satisfaction survey that we use at a National level. We recommend that customer satisfaction surveys be sent out at least 90 days after the hearing aid fitting with a self-addressed and stamped envelop. The survey should not be anonymous. The hearing health practitioner can administer an abbreviated MarkeTrak survey fitting on a single page and sometimes on a postcard. The key questions are overall satisfaction, satisfaction with service, hearing aid benefit, value and performance in quiet and in noisy situations.

- MarkeTrak I-VI
MarkeTrak is a tracking survey of the U.S. hearing instrument market utilizing the National Family Opinion (NFO) panel. Where available comparisons are made to the Hearing Industries Association (HIA) 1984 study of the U.S. hearing instrument market. Our general methodology is to query 80,000 households for hearing-impaired individuals, who are aided and unaided. Detailed surveys are then administered to a random sample of the respondents from our short screening survey. MarkeTrak, an industry service provided by Knowles Electronics, has been conducted periodically since 1989. MarkeTrak survey results are representative of the non-institutionalized hearing-impaired population.
- Customer Satisfaction
Having conducted customer satisfaction research on close to 25,000 consumers, key analysis by technology is presented here with the exception of MarkeTrak customer satisfaction trends.
- Market Development
Issues related to growth of the hearing aid market are presented here. Topics covered include the binaural advantage, the impact of hearing aids on quality of life, reducing hearing aid returns, as well as obstacles to market growth not covered under the MarkeTrak series.
- High Performance Hearing Solutions (Journal)
In collaboration with the Hearing Review we have edited three journals dedicated to improving customer satisfaction. All three of these journals are published electronically in their entirety: counseling, hearing in noise, and marketing and technology.
