The Academy of Doctors of Audiology (ADA) is dedicated to the advancement of practitioner excellence, high ethical standards, professional autonomy and sound business practices in the provision of quality audiologic care. ADA offers programming and resources for audiologists who are, or who desire to be autonomous practitioners in whatever setting they choose to practice. ADA advocates for audiologists owning their profession through practice ownership by offering assistance to its members, constituents and audiology students.

The Academy of Doctors of Audiology website, www.audiologist.org, offers consumers a variety of resources for learning about hearing loss, understanding the qualifications of audiologists, and understanding the services that audiologists provide.
