I continue to be encouraged by the spreading interest in making assistive listening telecoil-compatible. The hearing loop manufacturers seem to be increasingly busy with demand for their products and services. Major new installations are underway (NYC Transit subway information booths) or recently comleted (12,200 seats of Michigan State University's basketball and special events arena). And publications continue to appear, including the just-published Sound and Communications which goes to some 20,000 audio/AV contractors.
