Dr. Jacobster is a Board Certified Audiologist with 25 years of experience in diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology. She has lectured extensively to both consumer and professional groups on Hearing and Hearing Loss and has served as consultant on several research projects on music perception. She has served on the Boards of The Association of Adult Musicians with Hearing Loss and The Association of Medical Professionals with Hearing Loss and is currently a Professional Advisor for the Westchester (New York) Chapter of the Hearing Loss Association of America. She holds a Doctorate in Audiology with a specialty in electrophysiology, and has both an MA and BA in Music Theory and Composition. She still maintains her love of music and continues to play the piano. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling with Rocky, her hyperactive Jack Russell Terrier, doing Sudoku and rooting for the Yankees.
